Oil Production
Lapidoth has been producing oil and drilling numerous wells in the Heletz field in southern Israel for more than 50 years. More then 17 millions barrels have been produced by Lapidoth from the Heletz field since it’s discovery in the 1950’s. Today the field is composed out of 2 licenses:
- Iris / 343 – 36,800 acres
- Heletz Kochav /335 – 229,600 acres.
The Israeli oil and gas commissioner has confirmed that Lapidoth has made a commercial discoveries on both licenses and lease applications have been filled accordingly.
Oil & Gas Exploration
Lapidoth is performing various surveys in order to locate new petrolium resources in all of it’s land and marine licenses.
